XAUUSD Smart Money Concepts Dashboard

A local analysis platform that connects MetaTrader 5 data to Smart Money Concepts indicators, interactive Plotly visualizations, and causal strategy backtesting.

Problem: SMC analysis was fragmented across raw MT5 charts, manual annotation, and separate backtests.
My role: Designed and built the Python pipeline, interactive dashboard, causal strategy simulation, and tests.
Architecture: MetaTrader 5 → SMC indicators → Plotly/mplfinance → backtesting.py.
Difficult decision: Delayed swing-derived signals until confirmation to prevent look-ahead bias.
Outcome: Processes 5,000 M15 candles, refreshes every 5 seconds, and exports charts, reports, and trade lists.

World Cup Log Analytics Platform

Three FastAPI services behind an Nginx gateway, correlated JSONL logging, reproducible traffic generation, and a five-stage Hadoop Streaming MapReduce analytics pipeline.

Problem: Raw multi-service logs were difficult to correlate, reproduce, and turn into trustworthy analytics.
My role: Designed and implemented routing, services, traffic generation, structured logging, analytics, and verification.
Architecture: Traffic generator → Nginx → 3 FastAPI services → JSONL → HDFS → 5 MapReduce jobs.
Difficult decision: Used deterministic tie-breaking and guarded reruns so repeated analyses stay reproducible.
Outcome: Validated 100,000 correlated requests and materialized 13 verified CSV/JSON artifacts.

My path combines computer engineering fundamentals with hands-on software development. I enjoy understanding how a system works beneath the interface: its architecture, data flow, constraints, trade-offs, and failure points.

That mindset has led me from C programming and interpreters to Android architecture, backend APIs, distributed log analytics, and data-driven trading research. I value clean structure, honest documentation, and learning by building.
